Independent researcher and three-time cancer survivor, Paul Durieux was accepted into the faculty of Medicine at McGill University in the late ‘70s. He aspired to become an Oncologist. A life-altering diagnosis of terminal cancer abruptly changed his plans. Not being a candidate for standard of care, he was encouraged by a Macrobiotic Consultant, whose cooking classes he attended, to explore further Complementary Medicine. He went on to acquired diplomas in multiple disciplines, rooted in German Functional Medicine. Over the years, Paul developed a unique cancer protocol for his own personal needs, which proved helpful for others. This caught the attention of a science writer of a prominent medical journal who challenged him to identify one common denominator that affected people diagnosed with cancer. What Paul concluded led to the creation of a unique solution to a sorely misunderstood and sadly overlooked foundational problem. Underlying 95% of people challenged with a cancer diagnosis. Retired now, Paul is writing his first book based on his research, training and practical work in the fields of European Functional Medicine, Energetic Medicine, Holistic Nutrition and Sleep Hygiene.
